Preface

A Serene Sanctuary Amidst the Mountains

Nestled beside the majestic Bến En National Park, Bodhiñāṇa Monastery rests quietly amidst the mountains and forests of Thanh Hoa, offering a place of peace, reflection, and spiritual cultivation.

Established with the aspiration to preserve and illuminate the Buddha’s teachings, the monastery serves as a sanctuary where monks, nuns, and dedicated practitioners may devote themselves to the study of Dhamma, meditation practice, and the cultivation of the Noble Path.

Following the Theravāda Buddhist tradition, Bodhiñāṇa Monastery takes Sīla (Virtue), Samādhi (Concentration), and Paññā (Wisdom) as the foundation of training. Guided by the Satipaṭṭhāna Sutta and the Visuddhimagga, practitioners cultivate both serenity and insight meditation, gradually nurturing a life of inner peace, mindfulness, and awakening.

As the monastery continues its development according to the master plan, we respectfully invite devotees, and generous donors near and far to join in the construction of this monastery.

Every contribution, whether large or small, becomes a lasting wholesome deed that supports the preservation of the Buddha’s Dispensation as well as for the welfare and happiness of many

Yours respectfully,
